The Munich-based streetwear label distorted people introduces their new line, entitled DPC “distorted premium collection”.
Best known for their clean-cuts, non-conformist designs and admittedly, its catchy logo, the 2008-founded brand initially set off as a merch for a nightclub party. What quickly became an insider tip in the streetwear scene, is now one of Germany’s leading brand when it comes to urban fashion.
What they’re releasing now, is a collection that consciously reduces distorted people’s concept to its essence: simple yet chic and urban – always. Dung Vu, one of the two founders and Head of Design, says about the collection: “Our new clothing line dpc ‘distorted premium collection’ stands for clear, minimalistic and timeless designs in outstanding quality for customers who want to make a quiet but clear statement. The 21 pieces are streetwear fashion basics that can be perfectly combined with each other and have been shaped into an extremely consistent collection. dpc – be inspired by less.“ What really is quiet special about distorted people is their sense of community which goes far beyond a regular brand affiliation. Among the values of the label are loyalty, solidarity, diversity and respect that connects customers with each other, but at the same time maintains the bond between them and the label. So says Huy Vu, founder and twin brother of Dung: „The core of distorted peoples philosophy is the special relationship between us and our customers – the Crew.”
The collection is available now here, in distorted people stores as well as selected retail partners.
