On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Emporio Armani, three photographers (by chance, three of our favorites) interpreted the same look for Numéro Online.
Founded in 1981 as a pioneering line by Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani has since become an integral part of the fashion world for a youthful and contemporary generation. Local subculture and a holistic approach have since marked the identity of the brand, which draws its inspiration from sportswear, music, and various movements. At the same time, freedom is Emporio Armani’s highest good and is constantly renegotiated through the most diverse interpretations of fabrics such as denim or technical materials.
Freedom is also what we took for the birthday of this timeless brand and asked three photographers, Antje Peters, Isabell Wenzel, and Thomas Hauser, to each shoot the same look of Emporio Armani with their respective interpretation. Antje Peters, who is best known for her editorial still life shoots, stayed true to herself and shows the look in form of a sculptural collage. The artistic photographer Isabell Wenzel transforms her own body into the subject of the look and once again presents her acrobatic side. Thomas Hauser also photographs the look classically for himself, on the model, and in a black and white look
We wish you all the best, Emporio Armani!
