Hardly any sporting goods manufacturer has a richer history of high-fashion collaborations like the one from Herzogenaurach. Adidas‘ repertoire includes established labels such as Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Yohji Yamamoto or Alexander Wang. At the end of 2019 the sneaker brand collaborated with the Italian fashion house Prada for the first time. And the lines between luxury, streetwear, and sportswear continue to blur.
Adidas now announced a renewed collaboration with the Italian fashion house. Design-wise, this means that high fashion and streetwear come together in the A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 sneakers. A blend of both label’s heritage — as well as recycled materials — the model is soon to arrive in a versatile Triple Black look. Thanks to the comprehensive lack of color, the distinction between the America’s Cup design and the Three Stripes elements is nearly non-existent, with only the silhouette itself appearing at first glance.
In short: The collaboration is where sporting excellence meets perfect craftsmanship – with a modern twist.
Both colorways of the A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 silhouette launch globally on July 19th via stationary trade or online.
