„A beautiful garment lives“ is a famous quote by Jean Paul Gaultier, but so does a beautiful perfume. And that is now newly available with Scandal pour Homme by one and only JPG.
It is not only in fashion that Jean Paul Gaultier combines opposites and breaks with conventions of any kind since the beginning of his career. His perfumes are also known for their elegance, timelessness and innovation – just think of Le Male or the equivalent for women, Classique. After the great success of his other iconic women’s fragrance Scandal, its counterpart Scandal pour Homme is now available as well: Fresh, woody and oriental, the fragrance represents a modern masculine fragrance that seems to defy all stereotypes of a scent. Sage meets tangerine. Tonka bean on sensual caramel and woody vetiver. Yes, please!
To accompany the fragrance, Jean Paul Gaultier has produced a film in which Parker Van Noord is a boxer who meets Imaan Hammam in the ring. The crowd cheers them on, but the scandal is not long in coming. Because instead of competing against each other, they devote themselves to each other.
The flacon and packaging are also opulent, imposing, unusual. A crown adorns the cap and the perfume itself has a blue color, allows associations with royal, blue blood. The perfume is protected by a box made of red sand, which already tells the story of an extraordinary perfume. The refillable bottle, on the other hand, does not cause scandal to the environment. The sustainable bottle also saves glass, plastic, metal and packaging weight. For a pleasure free from remorse.
