As part of the Berlin Art Week the Zeiss-Großplanetarium turns into a gallery space for visual art and music. Already the fourth edition of “The New Infinity”, the program unites contemporary art and science, exploring planetariums as galleries of the future. The space allows visitors to dive deeply into an immersive experience, with 360° audio technology and a huge dome to show the moving cgi art.
With a diverse program full of audiovisual performances, visual music, fulldome films and cinema, the planetarium gets fully utilized. Some of the art works celebrate world premiere at Berlin Art Week, others were newly adapted for the dome. Artists include Agnieszka Polska, Bill Ham & Kara-Lis Coverdale, Emeka Ogboh, Florence To & Bendik Giske & Bridget Ferrill, Leif Randt, and others.
“The New Infinity” program runs 17. – 19. September as part of Berlin Art Week, book tickets now!
