TEKLA´S S NEW CAMPAIGN BY LAURA JANE COULSON
The British photographer Laura Jane Coulson catches s the essence of the approaching season. Nostalgia, affection, and lightness write the narrative of the newest campaign by TEKLA shot at the warm shores of Costa Rica. The hopeful campaign evokes feelings of togetherness, care, and trust done by the calming color palette of soft sunrise yellow, marine blue, forest, and inviting red.
THE WOOLMARK COMPANY ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF 2021 PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE
The Woolmark Company, On and SALEWA have announced the prize winners and 12 innovative finalists concepts for the Woolmark Performance Challenge 2021 – the ideal platform for the sports and performance market. Teaming up with two brands, Swiss running specialists, On challenged students to explore apparel innovations that respond to the highest demands of performance for modern outdoor runners, and Italian ski-wear experts SALEWA asking participants to innovate low environmental-impact fabric technologies to create thermo-regulating apparel for mountain activities. Drumroll, and the winners are: Caroline Schinle, Her invention creates a new technology for padded jackets to create a 100% biodegradable product, using a novel structure as support for a Merino wool and milkweed fibre filling; Dan Winegar, his prototype automatically adjusts insulation thickness to maintain comfort during and after exercise. The resultant 3D flexible fabrics can change from insulating to cooling modes depending on the levels of skier activity and Francesco Matera, envisioning a garment that adapts to the body in motion. His design uses zones of high compression to support and manipulate the wearer’s muscles and limbs during exercise.
BOTTEGA VENETA: THE PADDED CASSETTE
One of the most iconic bags of the current fashion horizon, the omnipresent Padded Cassette by Bottega Veneta is worn and beloved by a wide variety of individuals styling it in the most distinct ways. From Euphoria star Jacob Elordi and Rapper 070 Shake to Model Ella Emhoff it has earned the love of all genders. The stars of thousands have been spotted styling their staple with a workwear two-piece, where the bag has given the look an elegant polish and an all-leather look, where the bag has created an edgy symbiosis of shapes and textures.

Valentino is exploring the literary world once again. Being fully committed to fostering arts and culture, the brand is re-envisioning the method fashion making Valentino a pioneer of text-only campaigns. Valentino Narratives II combines stories from outstanding authors like Alok Vaid-Menon, Amia Srinivasan, Elizabeth Acevedo, Fatima Farheen Mirza, Murathan Mungan, and Serang Chung. Valentino The Narratives II shows off the pro-active approach of “giving back” to the community. The brand will continue to sustain selected independent bookstores and renew the collaboration with the Belletrist book club, promoting culture and inviting the community to join in an open dialogue. A peaceful words campaign guerrilla will paper Soho in New York and other cities.
