ASICS: GEL-KAYANO™ 14 RE
The GEL-KAYANO™14 throws you back to the aesthetic of the 2000s and picks up on the influences of traditional running along with urbanity. In 2008 the first model of the series came onto the market and the style has crystallized over the years to become the absolute darling of the public. Its special GEL technology cushioning and performance make it the shoe it is today. The updated version of the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 RE combines the functionality and technology of the original model with urbanity and is thus in connection with ASICS‘ “Sound Mind Sound Body” philosophy, which encourages movement and spirit.

BOTTEGA VENETA & NTS ANNOUNCE BOTTEGA RADIO
Bottega Veneta is joining forces with global music platform and radio station NTS for a new cultural partnership and monthly radio series, celebrating the craft behind music by collaborating with emerging and established musicians. Kicking off in April and continuing every month throughout 2022, NTS x Bottega Veneta will be opening up new conversations between NTS residents and guest stars through a series of collaboratively produced musical soundscapes, airing under the new title of Bottega Radio. The first episode features autotune enthusiast Tim Zha a.k.a Organ Tapes working together with L.A’s Jazmin, an expert in Latin music and resident host for NTS show Como La Flor. The series was launched on 07 April with a party at Stone Nest in London’s West End, featuring DJ sets and live performances from PLZ Make It Ruins boss and Frank Ocean collaborator Vegyn, experimental hip-hop auteur Slauson Malone, producer-rapper John Glacier, collaborative duo Sky & Mika Oki and the ever elusive Dean Blunt. The first episode of Bottega Radio aired on NTS 2 at 09:00 AM BST on 08 April, featuring Organ Tapes and Como La Flor: listen back via Bottega Veneta App.

ARKET: INTRODUCING KLÄTTERMUSEN
For the first time, ARKET welcomes a ready-to-wear label in the range of external brands with the north Swedish outdoor label Klättermusen, whose carefully curated selection is available for purchase online and in the ARKET stores. Technical outerwear has always been an integral part of the ARKET design library and so the outdoor label with the triangular logo – a well-known symbol among hikers – forms a very natural addition to the sporty, functional Scandi style. Hiking elements have found their way into everyday fashion and collaborations between high-end labels and well-known manufacturers of hiking and camping equipment are nothing unusual today. Windbreakers are becoming a status symbol and underline the norm core style, sleeveless vests not only look cool but can also be layered under thin coats and trench coats in the transitional period. In the accessories segment, snap hooks, decorative climbing knots, tarpaulin fabric and colored safety cords determine the look and form an exciting contrast to the reduced, straightforward ARKET chic.

EASTPAK x TELFAR
After years of demand, TELFAR has made a backpack for the first time ever. In collaboration with Eastpak—purveyor of high quality packs and luggage since 1976 —the two brands have debuted a collection that is both fashionable and functional. The collaboration debuted through a blind presale in which customers bought the bag without even seeing it. It sold out in minutes. Now available in select retail stores from April 15th , the four-piece lineup consists of TELFAR’s iconic shopping bag in three sizes and a new circle bag reworked with Eastpak’s expertise and emphasis on utility.

Diesel Venice Biennale TOM OF FINLAND exhibition
SAVE THE DATE – On the occasion of Tom of Finland’s birthday (8 May 1920), Tom of Finland Foundation and The Community have curated AllTogether, a group exhibition supported by Diesel, presenting Tom of Finland Foundation’s permanent collection to the public for the first time outside of Los Angeles. AllTogether explores the erotic art collection consisting of thousands of artworks, spanning multiple decades and encompassing all media and techniques. This exhibition is possible because of the Foundation’s efforts in preserving the work of queer artists, many of whom have faced discrimination and misrepresentation due to the nature of what they create. For over thirty years, Tom of Finland Foundation has been building the world’s most extensive collection of LGBTQ+ art. AllTogether acknowledges the profound social and cultural impact Tom’s Foundation has made, in providing an open, unique space of freedom and love for this community of artists.

G-STAR RAW PRESENTS: “The Art of Raw”
Unique art objects made from leftover denim. From the beginning, G-Star RAW has created artistic denim creations, whereby the interplay of art and design was and is an essential part of the brand DNA. For the first time, however, the Dutch denim brand will launch a new art platform today: “The Art of RAW”. This is developed and implemented in collaboration with various internationally award-winning design talents such as Teun Zwets, Athena Gronti, Lenny Stöpp, Hozan Zangana, Nienke Sikkema, Iwan Pol and Pien Post. The talents of the future In its quest to push creative boundaries, G-Star RAW is collaborating with several up-and-coming artists on a brand new series of art objects. In line with the brand’s responsible initiatives, artists have been given the opportunity to freely experiment with denim leftovers and create unique pieces in their own art, while at the same time upcycling materials.

CELINE: THE HAUTE MAROQUINERIE COLLECTION
Further proof of Celine’s exceptional savoir-fair: The Celine Haute MAROQUINERIE collection, designed by HEDI SLIMANE, represents just that, offering a series of unique pieces in delicate Crocodile Accented with 18-karat gold. What’s special here: The bags are made to order, similar to Celine Couture or Haute Parfumerie, and are thus made directly for the customer. This brings back into focus some of fashion’s long-forgotten guiding principles, namely the personal connection to a certain piece of clothing or accessory, which is also of a cultural and unique character.
The collection is led by the two signature models, The 16 and The Triomphe.
