As the Fendi Baguette is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year and that’s why the Italian fashion-house is releasing a limited-edition book in order to honor the Fendi “hand in hand“  initiative which was founded two years ago. This issue connects the work of artisans from all the twenty regions of Italy who were asked to reinterpret the iconic Baguette bag using vegetable leather, coral, wood and crochet among other things. In addition to the images showing these creations by the thirty Italian artists, the text is primarily about the evolution from craftsmanship to craft core, the value of looking back in order to move forward and the question of what constitutes a craft – written by art critic and curator Eugenio Viola, upcyclist and fashion designer Orsola de Castro and artist Aldo Bakker. The book was launched on November 3rd and is now available online in Europe only.

What once has been an institutional restaurant, has recently been transformed into a new space for Arigato‘s immersive brand experience.  Passing by the space located around the intersection of Weinmeisterstrasse and Neue Schönhauser Strasse in Berlin Mitte, the people are getting a panoramic view of the interior and plenty of natural light. The design of the store corresponds to Axel Arigato’s brand identity and its color palette. The use of Roman travertine stone on the floor and platforms creates a sense of light and heavy juxtaposing in the space. The clean and minimal aesthetic of the brand can consequently be felt everywhere inside the shop and carries its Scandinavian roots directly to Berlin Mitte. Opening this flagship was a sign of the brand’s commitment to further expand its presence in the German market after opening its first store in Munich one year ago and hosting pop-ups in collaboration with Kadewe, Oberpollinger and Alsterhaus.

Everyone knows them, everyone loves them – the fluffy, cozy UGG boots which are keeping us warm every winter. Telfar, well known for it’s iconic unisex shopping bag in every color, adapted UGG’s design with a plush Telfar logo and exposed shearling trim for extra softness. The restock of the UGG x TELFAR collection will be available for purchase at telfar.net on 25th November and then globally on ugg.com on 30th November.
