A LOVE LETTER TO NEW YORK: THE NEW Y-3 FALL/WINTER 2024 CAMPAIGN

Y-3 returns to the thriving cultural metropolis of New York City alongside pioneering trailblazers A$AP Nast and Gabbriette.

The campaign is shot by legendary photographer Max Vadukul. For him, it’s also a return to the buzzing city after 40 years, when he shot Yohji Yamamoto’s collection in 1984. This campaign is the result of a day-long walk around the vibrant city. The shots, filmed a few blocks from A$AP Nast’s childhood home in Harlem, are contrasted with scenes in which Gabbriette makes her way through the heart of New York City’s financial district. In addition to the photos, two videos were shot for the campaign, offering a glimpse into the minds of A$AP Nast and Gabbriette.

The campaign brings to life the thematic momentum of Y-3’s seasonal collection. Building on the Contra-Natural theme established for the Spring/Summer 2024 season, Y-3 seeks inspiration in the intersection of organic and synthetic, this time moving towards the Hyper-Natural concept. A Love Letter to New York is a story of contemporary elegance on a collision course with metropolitan grit.

On 9 August, The Ordinary is set to launch a new range of body care products suitable for all skin types and colours. By introducing these new formulations, The Ordinary aims to cater to the remaining 91% of the skin that is not on the face. These products contain popular ingredients such as salicylic acid and niacinamide, as well as a new ingredient called inulin. The Ordinary Lab values customer feedback and developed these body care products as a response to numerous enquiries about using their products on the body. The purpose is to encourage people to care for the skin on their bodies in the same way they do for their faces.
