Calvin Klein unveils latest Calvins or nothing Campaign
The latest chapter of the Calvin Klein campaign presents top athlete and Spanish table tennis player Carlos Alcaraz in a new light. The visual narrative began in the fall of 2022 with actress Maya Hawke and footballer Romelu Lukaku and features current world stars in Calvin Klein underwear. Carlos Alcaraz broke several records at a young age; for example, he won the US Open in 2022 and became the youngest world No. 1 in history. He is captured by Gray Sorrenti in raw, sober portraits and videos that focus on Carlos’ confidence and power. He is featured in the signature Modern Cotton, Cotton Classic Underwear and the new Classic Straight Denim, among others. Highlights are the selected models from the new 1996 Underwear collection, which stands out in black and white and in unique prints inspired by archive models. The Collection will be available at calvinklein.com.

Giorgio Armani Men’s Fashion Show Fall/Winter 23-24
The new Giorgio Armani Men’s Collection is inspired by Milan’s atriums found in noble palazzos. Atriums that hide gardens, spaces designed with discreet geometry in white and colored marble, which is reflected in the precious nature of certain materials used in the collection, such as cashmere, alpaca, velvet, and drapery. In any case, the theme of the fashion show was also a hint of the era of elegance, which in some cases is no longer quite ubiquitous, but still resonates in the elegant spirit of the city of Milan. Musically, the fashion show was accompanied and inspired by the composer Ludovico Einaudi.

Miu Miu celebrates Matelassé
The latest bag collection from the house of Miu Miu heralds the season in a neutral colour palette, subtle and luxurious. Matelassé is French and means padded or quilted: the leather goods are accordingly elaborately crafted in consummate craftsmanship and testify to security, strength and individuality. The distinctive texture combines art, technology and curiosity, showing that beauty and functionality need not be mutually exclusive. Through the close-up portrait of Guen Fiore, the bags are clearly the focus as protagonists in Deo Suveera’s still-life paintings. In the Fall/Winter 2006 season, the matelassé leather was shown for the first time on the runway in Paris and, over the years, has established itself as a core element of the brand. Now, only gold details and a gold logo round out the accessories. They are available in all Miu Miu stores and online at miumiu.com.

Our Legacy Fall/Winter 2023 Launch
OUR LEGACY‘s new Fall/Winter 2023 collection “Bold” was derived and re-inspired from garments that have managed to exist in life for a long time. Garments that were once valued as a favorite but then changed over time and decades. Over the years, the proportions have warped, changed and deteriorated as side effect. This phenomenon can be seen throughout the collection among other things shrunken jerseys, redesigned tailoring as well as miniature jackets. It is also very evident in the faded and washed-out materials that represent the impression of aging. Another guiding theme of the collection also deals with the unification of garments with different proportions.

Études N°22 Autumn Winter 2023 Runway Show “CENTRE – VILLE”
The new Études Autumn Winter 2023-24 collection recenter the narrative on the epicenter of the city life. In Paris, the concept of ‘le centre ville’ is almost an abstract notion, yet in other metropoles it is a vital expression of togetherness, a signifier of connectivity, and a melting pot of both the spectacular and the banal. It is where the most ancient and contemporary elements of civilizations intertwine. The collection’s muted color palette ranges from dusty pink and arctic blue to deep green, chocolate, mud, concrete, black and beige. The collection reflects the archetypes of the male wardrobe, which is inseparable from city life. The Études fashion show took place inside a multi-storey parking garage in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, featuring an exclusive live performance by the French recording artist Koudlam.

Saint Laurent Men’s Winter 23 Runway Show by ANTHONY VACCARELLO
Saint Laurent‘s latest collection is a continuation of previous seasons, showcasing Anthony Vaccarello’s evolving vision in the rotunda of the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection. Art and Saint Laurent have been complicit since the beginning, making Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s radical structure-within-a-structure a natural setting for the intimate presentation. The collection is a dialogue between masculinity and femininity at Saint Laurent. Every look is thought through to the last detail. The color palette of the collection is very restrained from black, white, camel, navy blue, silver accents – emphasizes the sense of bold sophistication. This time, the shape and length of the designs are rethought to create new designs and reinvent the over-the-top brand codes.

Lou de Bétoly Runway Show AW23
Artisanal techniques such as knitting, crochet and embroidery are very much in focus for Lou de Bétoly, especially in this intricate and detailed collection. The concept thematizes abundance in all its forms and reworks materials from waste and leftovers into luxury clothing. Following the fairy tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, the brand questions the value of expensive clothing in our society and how we deal with consumption in general. The designs are presented like a second skin or take up the space around the models in wide drapes. Consisting of reworked silk, wool, denim and yarn obtained from old handkerchiefs, all the materials are second-hand. Between fragile, expressive and majestic, the collection is a confident allusion to long-established design houses and a former couture era.
