WEEKEND MUSIC PT. 32: ICE SPICE FEATURING REMA

QUEEN OF DRILL lCE SPICE RELEASES HER NEW SINGLE “PRETTY GIRL” FEATURING REMA

ICE SPICE is on of the most exciting new artist of the year, making it to several “best of” lists and year-end roundups last year, including mentions in US Rolling Stone, The Washington Post and Pitchfork. Recently, her song “Munch (Feeling’ U)” became a hit with over 24 million views on its official video. She also collaborated with Nicki Minaj on “Princess Diana” and even worked with pop sensation Taylor Swift on the song and video for “Karma.” Now, she’s teamed up with Nigerian rapper Rema, known for his global hit “Calm Down.” Both Ice Spice and Rema received Moonman awards at the MTV VMAs, and they’ve just dropped their joint single “Pretty Girl.” Ice Spice and Rema are bringing some excitement to the start of autumn!

“She knows exactly how and where to exhale her rhymes into drill music’s sleek architecture, offering a breathy human counterpoint to the alien bass lines, the glitchy hi-hats, the antiseptic synth melodies that tend to hide out in the corner.” – The Washington Post
