GUCCI LAUNCHES NEW CAMPAIGN STARRING PIETRO CASTELLITTO

Since 1953, Gucci introduced footwear for the first time. Part of this eponymous launch was the Horsebit 1953 loafer. This loafer has not only endured but been reimagined repeatedly over the years, becoming one of Gucci‘s signature pieces as styles and trends evolve. The loafer has adapted into a versatile item, worn casually and sportily, that offers a new idea of elegance. Its distinctive front detail, featuring a double ring and bar, has become a defining motif in many of Gucci’s collections.

Following in the footsteps of Global Brand Ambassador Xiao Zhan, and Kingsley Ben-Adir, Italian actor, screenwriter, and director Pietro Castellitto now steps into the spotlight as the face of Gucci’s latest campaign, embodying the House´s signature, timeless style in a fresh, modern way.
Creative Director Sabato De Sarno has crafted a creative space that reflects Castellitto´s unique character, perfectly aligning with Gucci‘s evolving vision of the contemporary man. Set amid books, music, and art, the campaign presents Castellitto shifting through various looks that showcase the Horsebit 1953 loafer. This campaign captures the loafer’s iconic role within Gucci‘s menswear line, emphasizing

personality, originality, elegance,

and the loafer’s essential place in De Sarno’s vision of a modern menswear wardrobe.
