WEEKEND MUSIC PT. 52: LOCO CANDY released his debut album “Leichtsinniges Verhalten mit ungewissem Ausgang”

Loco Candy opens a new chapter with his debut album – a sonic trip through chaos, loss of control and self-discovery.

Loco Candy’s debut album is a raw, genre-defying trip through emotional excess, chaos and the pulse of the city at night. Born in Bochum and based in Berlin, the DJ, producer, and founder of BLOODY RAIN blends indie, rap and electronic elements into a sound that feels both hyper-personal and club-ready.

Known for his DJ sets and residency at Berlin’s Soho House, Loco Candy now translates his kinetic energy into a full-length record that captures a life between overdrive and collapse. His tracks feel like moments torn from sleepless nights – sometimes hypnotic and distant, sometimes sharp and immediate, always emotionally charged.

The lead single “Sheriff” sets the tone with driving beats and confessional urgency. Produced by longtime collaborator Jonas Markschat and mastered by Grammy-nominee Tatsuya Sato, the album proves that behind the noise lies intention, precision and vulnerability.

Leichtsinniges Verhalten mit ungewissem Ausgang is out now on all platforms.
