TELEKOM ELECTRONIC BEATS CELEBRATES 25 YEARS WITH FKA TWIGS IN BERLIN
Telekom Electronic Beats celebrated its 25th anniversary with a spectacular party at CANK Berlin on May 28, transforming the iconic Neukölln venue into a vibrant hotspot of music, art, and community.
Headlining the night was genre-defying artist FKA twigs, who debuted her »Eusexua Rave« performance in Germany, a powerful and intimate blend of electronic music, vocals, and movement, performed alongside DJ Dr. Rubinstein. “It’s always a gift to be connected with others who love music and its power to bring us together is something I will never take for granted,“ Twigs says.
The night also featured musical guests like Boys Noize, Fuffifufzich and Wolfram, as well as DJ sets from E.P.I.Q. and Layers (bae2bae), all together making up a diverse and fun night for the big birthday celebrations of Telekom Electronic Beats.
MONTBLANC’S CUSTOM-MADE WRITING INSTRUMENTS FEATURED IN WES ANDERSON’S NEW FILM
Montblanc’s signature elegance finds a new stage in The Phoenician Scheme, the latest film by Wes Anderson. The film spotlights two custom-made writing instruments, both crafted in close collaboration with the team of Wes Anderson and inspired by archival Montblanc designs.
The Heritage Rouge et Noir Coral, with its iconic serpent clip, was originally discontinued in 2019. For the film, it was revived in an ultra-limited edition of seven pieces and meticulously adapted to echo its 1920s predecessor, complete with a hand-painted black cone.
Joining it on screen is the Meisterstück 149 ‘50s Look’, dubbed the “Birthright Pen” in the film. This tailored take on Montblanc’s most iconic model mirrors the design of the original 1950s edition, featuring two-toned cap rings and an engraved ‘149’ on the cone to match the film’s mid-century setting.
The collaboration marks Montblanc’s 100th anniversary of the Meisterstück – an anniversary not just celebrated, but elegantly scripted into cinema.
ACNE PAPER’S TWENTIETH-ANNIVERSARY EDITION: GOLDEN
With its 20th issue, Acne Paper doesn’t just mark a milestone, it sets a legacy. Titled Golden, the anniversary edition is less about nostalgia than it is a luminous meditation on value, permanence, and cultural memory. Launched in 2005 as an editorial extension of Acne Studios, the magazine has always blurred the lines between fashion, art, and literature. This issue feels like a culmination, and a deliberate turning point.
At the heart of Golden lies a deep, glimmering preoccupation: not just with gold as a material or aesthetic, but as metaphor. Across essays, interviews, fashion portfolios, and visual experiments, the issue mines gold’s historical weight and symbolic currency, from ancient rituals to modern excess. The result is far-reaching yet grounded, offering moments of quiet reflection and baroque intensity in equal measure.
Fronting the cover is actress and model Raya Martigny, captured by Szilveszter Makó in an image that feels both celestial and defiant, an apt visual prelude to a publication that continues to challenge what fashion editorial can be. At a time when creative publishing can feel either hyper-commercial or conceptually opaque, Acne Paper’s Golden finds a rare balance: rich, strange, and yes, worth its weight.
