ON OUR RADAR

Numéro Berlin’s weekly collection of the most exciting news about fashion, music, and simply everything that is on our radar. And here is why it should be on yours as well!

IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW

As part of this year’s Pride Month, adidas teamed up with Berlin-based talent dangarten to launch the “IYKYK BERLIN EDITION” – a slightly provocative but genuine, funny and unmistakably gay tribute to local queer culture. For the first time, a global brand collaborated with a meme account to offer a platform for queer creatives in the fields of fashion, music and art to be seen and heard – for those who get it, IFYKY.

On Wednesday, July 30, the exclusive dangarten x adidas merch collection dropped at Laundromat, the adidas concept store in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg. The ten-piece collection was designed by dangarten and draws from recurring themes in his memes – a humorous, sarcastic even, take on the (hot gay) Berlin summer. Rising DJs limbic sis (layerscollective, bae2bae) and Greta Galleur (club heartbroken, surf2glory) set the tone with Y2K energy and genre-bending sets.

Merch was handed out to both consumers and invited Berlin-based creatives, who left the event with “1. FC GAYS UNITED” and “GAY APPROVED” on their backs.

The campaign imagery for the collection was shot by Lukas Städtler, capturing the bold and ironic aesthetic that defines the IYKYK spirit. In the end, the collaboration did what it set out to do – sparking conversation, making space for expression, and celebrating queer joy on its own terms.

A NEW CHAPTER IN OUTDOOR ELEGANCE

Canada Goose and Haider Ackermann continue their creative journey together with a new capsule collection under the Snow Goose line – a thoughtful evolution that blurs the boundaries between utility and design. Inspired by the raw functionality of workwear and built to endure shifting climates, the collection speaks not just to the body, but to the spirit of exploration. These pieces are made for in-between moments: the unexpected downpour, the late autumn chill, the pause between seasons where nature is at its most alive.

Haider Ackermann’s signature precision meets Canada Goose’s outdoor heritage in silhouettes that feel both grounded and free. This latest collaboration isn’t just a celebration of craftsmanship, but a quiet nod to the wild places that still pull at our curiosity. At its core, the collection reminds us of the deep human need to be close to nature – not to conquer it, but to move through it with intention, respect, and wonder.

BRIONI LA DONNA FW25: A MOVEMENT IN STYLE

With its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Brioni La Donna continues its exploration of quiet power and refined femininity under the theme “A Movement in Style.” Embracing a subtle spectrum of greys – from deep charcoal to slate and soft steel – the collection offers a palette that feels both grounded and elevated.

The silhouettes speak the language of restraint: fluid yet precise, softly structured, with tailoring that follows the natural line of the body rather than shaping it by force. Luxurious wools, soft brushed flannels, and fine cashmeres form the tactile foundation of the collection – materials chosen not just for their quality, but for how they move with the wearer. Nothing is static; everything is in quiet motion.

Versatility remains central to the Brioni La Donna vision. The pieces are designed to transition gracefully between contexts – a tailored coat that carries presence in the boardroom, or a fluid wool dress that feels equally at home in the city or the stillness of a winter evening. It is timelessness not as nostalgia, but as quiet relevance – a wardrobe that endures because it listens, adapts, and never shouts.

T’IS THE SEASON

Carhartt WIP’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection shakes off the expected and leans into the offbeat. Think jewel tones colliding with soft-washed canvas, work jackets dipped in mauve, and flannels that look like they’ve been pulled from a smoky mid-century lounge. Familiar silhouettes reappear – rinsed, faded, a little scuffed – then get turned on their heads with playful tweaks and surprising textures. There’s corduroy that feels like it grew wild, shaggy pile that borders on absurd, and a red that refuses to stay quiet.

Camo, of course, shows up – but not how you remember it. A new ‘Camo Combi’ gets spliced across padded outerwear and bags, while the women’s range rolls out the painterly chaos of ‘Wild Dog Camo’ on everything from knits to cargo pants. And somewhere between nostalgia and invention, the Hooded Olten Bomber emerges – a sculptural remix of the Siberian Parka, built for winters that ask for more than just warmth.

If you are planning to dress to impress this Winter, consider sliding into the new Carhartt WIP-pieces!

PRADA EXPLORE

Prada continues to reinvent itself with quiet confidence. Rooted in a legacy of innovation and intellectual curiosity, the house blends function and elegance through a language that feels both classic and forward-looking. The new Prada Explore bag embodies this duality – merging utilitarian design with refined detail, offering a modern interpretation of the brand’s signature uniform-inspired aesthetic.

Streamlined yet softly padded, the bag features 3D outer pockets and practical inner compartments, built to carry one’s essentials from city streets to nature trails. The detachable strap and handle allow versatile wear, while gold- or silver-toned buckles nod to Prada’s modern heritage. Crafted in Re-Nylon – a symbol of the brand’s commitment to sustainability – the Explore line is also available in suede and nappa leather.

Offered in silhouettes like hobo, top-handle, backpack, or messenger, the Explore bag isn’t just about style – it’s about movement, adaptability, and intelligent design. It speaks to a new kind of luxury: thoughtful, utilitarian, and endlessly evolving.
