MIZUNO’S SPORTSTYLE “WAVE PROPHECY LS”
With its new campaign in London, Mizuno is showcasing an urban, energetic positioning, moving away from calm, classic settings and toward street culture.
The Wave Prophecy LS combines a classic mesh upper with a shiny exoskeleton and the Infinity Wave sole. Aleix Barau’s photo series “Street Racer” proves the shoe’s undeniable presence and striking attitude.
The brand focuses on high-quality, responsible production, a growing emphasis on sustainability, and continuously evolving performance technologies. The silhouette is based on the Wave Prophecy 8 Runner by Yoshitaka Takahashi and combines futuristic design with breathable airmesh for high-end performance.
A design that leaves no doubt that this model can keep up with any street style.
032c HITTING THE GYMS AND THE STREETS
No month fills gyms as reliably as January. The trend toward relentless self-optimization knows no end, especially at the beginning of the year.
032c plays with this phenomenon in its typically ironic way. The brand presents a collection of comfortable fitness and jogging suits printed with tongue-in-cheek statements such as “Protein” and “Hardcore Wellness,” serving as subtle commentary on our obsession with fitness, health, and lifestyle culture.
The straight cuts and deliberately oversized look make the collection a confident statement that works far beyond the gym. It is not only aimed at gym-loving protein enthusiasts, but also effortlessly enhances any relaxed everyday look.
THE NEW DIOR ARCHIES
The Dior Archie embodies the classic elegance that the Dior fashion house has always stood for. Its rounded shapes, complemented by a discreetly placed logo, make this moccasin-style shoe a timeless statement for everyday wear.
Designed by Jonathan Anderson, the Archie combines a clean silhouette with functional sophistication. The architecturally designed sole supports the footbed, while the width of the design bears Anderson’s unmistakable signature. Visible stitching on the upper material references the heritage of Roger Vivier and bridges the gap between contemporary interpretation and the Dior archive.
The Dior Archie comes in two versions: a classic design in smooth leather in brown or black, and in nubuck leather in beige. The line is complemented by a boat shoe, whose wraparound lacing and combination of brown suede and black smooth leather accents add a maritime touch.
Two elegant, summery styles that exude understated luxury.
LONGCHAMP’S THE FOULONNÉ COLLECTION
For nearly five decades, Longchamp’s “Le Foulonné” collection has embodied the perfect combination of timeless elegance and craftsmanship. The distinctive grained, tumbled leather that gave the line its name makes each model a symbol of substance, durability, and understated luxury. This season, the brand presents the iconic collection in new warm shades ranging from mocha to coffee to amber, adding subtle depth and nuance to any outfit.
A highlight is the new crescent moon design. The gently curved silhouette, narrow shoulder strap, and crossbody functionality make the bag a versatile, stylish companion for everyday urban life. Small details such as the specially designed buckle, to which personal charms can be attached, transform the accessory into a customizable statement piece.
Whether the gently rounded handbag or the generous oversized tote, each model complements the wardrobe of style-conscious women who value clearly defined lines, understated elegance, and sophisticated functionality.
O’BASTARDO AT SALON 69 IN BERLIN
Afro-Brazilian artist O’Bastardo presents Rhythm & Skin, his first solo exhibition in Europe, in Salon 69, Berlin, parallel to the group exhibition Rhythm & Soul. Created during his residency at Galerie Kornfeld in Berlin and supplemented by recent works from Brazil, the works show a society reflected in its own complexity.
O’Bastardo’s paintings are one of the most striking voices of a young Afro-Brazilian generation. His powerful portraits are both aesthetic and political. Anonymized bodies and faces represent individual and collective experiences in which history, resistance, and the future are inextricably intertwined.
His gestural painting combines urban visual codes from graffiti, street culture, and hip-hop. Precise lines, striking contours, and a rhythmic color palette characterize his multi-layered pictorial surfaces.
Black bodies, the energy of the favelas, spiritual practices, and everyday resistance. O’Bastardo transforms these themes into visual poetry, a tribute to dignity, visibility, and empowerment, thus making social realities that are often marginalized visible.
The exhibition starts on January 15 and ends on February 28.
