ON OUR RADAR

Numéro Berlin’s weekly collection of the most exciting news about fashion, music, and simply everything that is on our radar. And here is why it should be on yours as well!

PLATTE OPENING

On September 11, PLATTE.Berlin marked its fifth anniversary with an evening dedicated to three different facets of Berlin’s contemporary creative scene. The celebration brought together fashion label Haderlump, photographer Sven Marquardt, and Berlin-based artist, DJ and producer Luca Eck.

As part of Berlin Art Week’s collective Featured Night, the event reflected the creative spirit that has defined PLATTE over the past five years. Fashion, art, music and community came together for an evening highlighting the diverse perspectives that continue to shape Berlin’s cultural landscape.

LARDINI AUTUMN-WINTER 2026/27

For Autumn-Winter 2026/27, Lardini goes back to its roots. Le Origini brings the brand’s longstanding focus on Italian craftsmanship into a more contemporary context, balancing traditional tailoring with modern functionality and technical details. Soft, tactile fabrics—from brushed wool and cashmere to velvet and fine silk—give the collection a sense of warmth and depth.

Tailored coats, knitwear and outerwear are kept clean and understated, with relaxed volumes and subtle details taking centre stage. Rather than reinventing itself completely, Lardini builds on what it already knows, showing how tradition can evolve without losing its character.

THE BEAUTY OF BALLROOM – FILM PREMIERE & LIVE PERFORMANCE

THE BEAUTY OF BALLROOM explores a young yet remarkably vibrant, bold, and diverse Ballroom scene in Southeast Asia. At its heart are three protagonists who come from very different walks of life, yet are united by a shared passion: Voguing as a powerful means of self-expression.

The premiere will take place on Monday, September 24. A special cinema screening will be held on September 21 in Kino International in Berlin, featuring a live dance performance by protagonist Aurora Sun Labeija, Legendary Mother Leo Saint Laurent, Black Pearl 007 and Gwapo Laveaux. Additional screenings can be found here.

CARHARTT WIP FALL/WINTER 2026

For Fall/Winter 2026, Carhartt WIP takes a look at chaos from the other end. Directed by French-Canadian filmmaker and photographer Alex Acy, the campaign unfolds in reverse, turning everyday scenes into a sequence of events that seem to undo themselves.

Three friends, a dog, a car, a couch and a few cans of paint become part of the story, while violet splashes and stains run through the film and its imagery. Set against the collection’s deep burgundy, green and navy tones, the campaign plays with the idea of time, repetition and cause and effect. The result is surreal, slightly chaotic and deliberately offbeat.

AN ITALIAN AUTUMN

This autumn, ARKET looks to Milan for inspiration. In Brera, effortless Italian elegance meets a relaxed heritage aesthetic, with lightweight coats, checked car coats and peacoats styled with straight-leg denim and polished loafers.

The palette stays between beige, brown and navy, with accents of bright red and fresh cotton blue. A navy suit, a knotted shirt collar or ARKET’s black-and-white striped Gondolieri Shirt add the subtle details that make the look distinctly Italian. More from the collection can be seen here.
