At Milan Fashion Week on January 12, 2024, Gucci debuted a menswear collection that redefined conventional fashion norms. The runway unfolded a story of joy, passion, and humanity, encapsulating irreverent glamour, confidence, and especially simplicity. Filled with immediate emotions, the collection showcased a vibrant palette of red, blue, and green. The collection featured shiny, tactile objects, cold to the touch but warm to the heart, enriching everyday life beyond the confines of a museum. Gucci’s narrative embraced music, nightlife, and the joyous moments of sweat, dancing, and singing. It painted a vivid picture of family, kisses, and togetherness, offering a holistic experience that invites everyone to be part of this fabulous journey.

COMBINING DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY – Y´S AND SCHOLL
The Y’s and Scholl silhouette draws inspiration from Scholl’s ‘Sabot’ shoe. In this design, the upper is fastened to the sole using tacker needles instead of the round rivets typically found in Scholl footwear, and the edges are covered with leather tape. The exclusive buckle featured on the strap belt of this Y’s collaboration model, along with the refined shape of the strap, and the unique assembly technique, echoes the bar tack stitching seen on the throat of a men’s formal shoes. The Y’s and Scholl sabot shoe embodies both comfort and style by incorporating elements of classic men’s footwear. Each component is meticulously crafted in an all-black design, while the leather tag, marked ‘Y’s Scholl,’ this special collaboration.

ACNE STUDIOS F/W `24, AN ODE TO DENIM CULTURE
Acne Studios created the uniform for the modern cyber biker and who could be a better choice to embody them, then the rebbellious Yves Tumor. „The way they pull a look together feels very in the spirit of the collection. On the shoot, it was brilliant, it felt completely different all the time, downtown/uptown, low-tech/high-tech, scary and cute, all at once. Yves has all these different sides, which to me, represents what a true rebel is: a person you want to be, who doesn’t give a shit but makes immaculate choices.” says Jonny Johansson, Creative Director, Acne Studios. Neons clash with classic biker and grunge details, mixing with psychedelic prints inspired by rave and club culture. The denim gets an oily and worn-in feel with a yellow desert wash, and paint marks for an authentic look, and adorned with embroideries, sprayed-on graphics and firemen hooks cinching the waist. The voluminous knee-high shearling maxi boots complement the collections aesthetic as much as the fluffy faux fur hats with cat ears, mittens and scarves.
