FLUXXIOUS IS INVITING PEOPLE TO PLAY

During the Berlin Fashion Week, OOR Studio opened its doors to showcase their new OOR APPAREL collection. A highlight was the closing event featuring a special performance.

Over 100 invited spectators gathered at the gallery space of “Schlachter 151” on Thursday, February 8th, to not only view the new garments from OOR Studio but also to witness a truly special performance. Fluxxious, the alter ego of Lydia Toompere, presented a choreography that was truly remarkable. Strutting on almost 20cm high leather boots and adorned with a latex mask, she moved gracefully throughout the space, executing acrobatic maneuvers such as squats on a pillar positioned within the room. As the crowning moment, Lydia spun and swung herself on a swing apparatus attached to the ceiling, captivating the well-filled room. The special thing about the performance was the effortless grace she exuded, while observers couldn’t help but wonder how exhausting such a show must be. For a moment, she managed to divert attention away from the gallery and the collection, capturing everyone’s gaze. Fluxxiois enjoys collaborating with the following brands: Kordani, MÁTHÉ and Blackstyle Latex.

In that moment, silence fell, as Fluxxious owned the room.

Both before and after the performance, guests had the opportunity to check out the new clothing line by OOR Studio. Designed by Götz Offergeld and Creative Director Mirko Borsche, the collection aims to bring fun back into the fashion industry. And on this evening, the invited guests clearly had fun. Offergeld himself was present, demonstrating the meticulous attention to detail put into each piece.
