GUCCI’S WOMAN FALL WINTER 24 COLLECTION PRESENTED IN MILAN

The house presented finely constructed coats with, mixing modern fibers into the wool and covered plackets. Hidden buttoning on the back transform them into an embrace. Details include laces, which are cut and reconstructed, embellished with embroideries other laces or velvets. The knitwear is enriched by transparent or slightly off-tone sequins or with a crystal fringe that recreates a ribbed motif. The color palette is a combination of the “ugly” ones, “the ones of the heart” and “the wrong ones”, all together.

C.P. COMPANY AND ASICS TEAM UP TO PRESENT THEIR FIRST COLLABORATION
The Japanese shoe brand, which is widely known for their imaginative collaborations, now teams up with the Italian Outer Wear Brand C.P.Company. Bringing their unique design language and creative lens together, they present a brand new reimagination of a classic silhouette. The GEL-QUANTUM 360TM VIII was showcased at Paris Fashion Week, in a space specially designed to reflect metropolitan surroundings in all it’s layers. With their new show, C.P. Company embraces their “Urban Agility” concept from the Metropolis Series, their collection dedicated to investigating modern urban landscapes. Its upper construction is reimagined with 5D print details that resemble ergonomic shapes found in nature. Meanwhile, the advanced TRUSSTICTM technology and external back counter help create better stability and a more dynamic appearance. The shoe’s midsole has been redesigned to offer more cushioning and less weight.

MIU MIU ANNOUNCES THE NEW DIRECTOR OF THE 27TH WOMEN’S TALES FEATURE FILM
The Malaysian producer and film director Chui Mui Tan will be the new creative head of the upcoming feature film “I AM THE BEAUTY OF YOUR BEAUTY, I AM THE FEAR OF YOUR FEAR”, which will be the 27th chapter of Miu Miu’s Woman’s Tales film series. Chui Mui Tan has made her debut feature in 2006, with “Love Conquers All”, which won numerous prizes at film festivals all over the globe. Her 2021 feature, Barbarian Invasion, a meditation on motherhood and identity was nominated for Best Picture at the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival Golden Goblet Awards. And in 2022, Chui Mui’s project, “Just Because You Pressed the Shutter?” won the 2022 Jimei x Arles Discovery Award. Her new feature film for Miu Miu will be presented in Shanghai on March 12th, 2024.
