American sportswear brand GANT presents its Spring/Summer 2024 collection. For this season, GANT took inspiration from Mulberry Street in New York, where 90s preppy style meets Ivy grunge. The result is a collection that reinterprets classic pieces in modern silhouettes.
At the start of the season, the color palette is a balanced mix of classic navy and blue tones, complemented by shades of beige, grey, cream and white. Highlight colors include traditional red, sunny yellow, dusty ivy green, fresh pink and indigo blue, which appears in training and uniform jackets, heavy rugby shirts and silk ties.
Early season prints and graphics pay homage to classic nautical and collegiate elements, with a mix of nautical and Ivy stripes, gingham checks, spring madras and authentic varsity graphics. In women’s styles, monograms and florals come to life with new prints and jacquards on both separates and elegant summer dresses.
As the season progresses, GANT embarks on a vibrant Mediterranean journey, taking inspiration from the American summer wardrobe with a European flair. Tailored yet relaxed garments are presented, including linen tops, pleated skirts and chino shorts for men and women, adding a cosmopolitan flair to American sportswear.
The color palette includes natural linen tones and earthy colors such as beige, brown and khaki green. Playful accents mix bold hues with soft pastel colors that perfectly capture summer. Sunflower yellow, papaya orange, soft pastel blue, pink, coral, sage and a hint of turquoise and lime green come into their own in Hawaiian shirts and structured polos.
At this stage of the collection, the graphics celebrate early summer classics, including candy stripes, colorful collegiate stripes, retro-inspired large tropical leaf patterns and artistic geometrics. “This season, the brand invites you to experience the essence of relaxed, confident elegance, whether you’re strolling the streets of New York or enjoying the Mediterranean sun,” says Christopher Bastin, Creative Director of GANT.
