NEW CARHARTT WIP’S FALL/WINTER 2024 CAMPAIGN BY III-STUDIO
The new campaign Carhartt WIP (Work In Progress) immerses you in an almost mystical, uncanny fantasy, inspired by the atmosphere of teenage rebellion.
Established in 1994, Carhartt WIP continues to adapt and modify the core products of the pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt to create its own collections.
This time the campaign was created by the Parisian-based creative agency Ill-Studio, and was shot by Nadine Fraczkowski. The video was directed by Theodor Guelat.
Ill-Studio, with its cross-cultural approach, previously collaborated with Carhartt WIP on an exhibition accompanying the launch of the brand’s Archives book.
JIM JARMUSCH WILL CURATE A PERSONAL SELECTION OF ARTWORKS DURING PARIS PHOTO
Paris Photo invited a renowned filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Surrealism. Four films by Man Ray, a key figure in the entire Surrealism movement, have recently been restored. They were brought together as one film, «Return to Reason», which will be shown during the fair. For this film Jim Jarmusch and his avant-garde post-rock group SQÜRL composed original music.
This turns into an homage to Man Ray, as Jarmusch himself has a strong connection to photography, which has significantly influenced his films. He has made photographs for many years and has created hundreds of newsprint collages.
The public release of «Return to Reason» is scheduled for November 13.
The 27th edition of Paris Photo will be held at the Grand Palais from November 7 to 10, 2024.
AUDEMARS PIGUET CREATS A UNIQUE MUSICAL EXPERIENCE WITH KEINEMUSIK IN THE SWISS ALPS
Le Brassus, September 6, 2024 – Following this summer’s Audemars Piguet Parallel experience, which brought together various electronic artists on the sidelines of the Montreux Jazz Festival, Audemars Piguet, known for it’s timeless watches, continues its support for the world of music by organizing an exclusive concert in collaboration with the Berlin-based DJ collective Keinemusik on the picturesque heights of the Bürgenstock. This project is part of the APxMusic program, which continues the brand’s long-standing commitment to the music world and supports artists in exploring new creative horizons.
The show, featuring Keinemusik members Rampa, &ME and Adam Port, will combine electronic music with cutting-edge scenography in a stunning natural setting. A special highlight will be a brand new track created in collaboration with South African DJ Uncle Waffles. A video series will document the creation of this ambitious music project and show the creative journey of the two.
MIU MIU UNVEILS ‘TALES & TELLERS’ AT ART BASEL PARIS: A CELEBRATION OF FEMININITY THROUGH STORYTELLING AND ART
Miu Miu, under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada, has long been fascinated by the lives and stories of women, blending culture with fashion. Since 2011, the brand’s Women’s Tales initiative has spotlighted female filmmakers to explore the diversity of femininity. In 2021, Miu Miu further evolved its biannual runway shows into a platform for artistic dialogue through installations and motion images, always centered on the experiences of women.
As part of its partnership with Art Basel Paris in 2024, Miu Miu presents Tales & Tellers, a project conceived by artist Goshka Macuga and convened by Elvira Dyangani Ose, director of MACBA. The event, held at Palais d’Iéna—also the site of the Miu Miu runway shows—will feature an artistic intervention by Macuga during the Spring/Summer 2025 runway show on October 1, 2024.
Tales & Tellers, running from October 16-20, 2024, with a preview on October 15, explores the power of storytelling through films, performances, and discussions, focusing on the evolving ideas of femininity. It will feature reenactments of characters from Miu Miu Women’s Tales films, as well as conversations with directors and artists. Registration for guided tours and panel discussions will be available on miumiu.com starting October 3.
DIOR UNVEILS THE NEW CARO BACKPACK: A TRIBUTE TO TIMELESS ELEGANCE

LOUIS VUITTON UNVEILS ITS LATEST “WHITE CANVAS: LV TRAINER IN RESIDENCE” PROJECT
On September 23rd, 2024, Louis Vuitton will release its next “White Canvas” project. The classic all-white leather low-top LV Trainer serves as the foundation for this artistic collaboration. This time, the Maison is partnering with contemporary artists Zhou Yilun and Wen Na.
Zhou Yilun uses flowing pigments, leaving the pair of shoes in a seemingly unfinished state. By naming them 42.5°C and -8.6°C, he aims to draw attention to climate change.
Wen Na incorporates “Wave” and “Cloud” designs, inspired by traditional Chinese imagery and the classic Louis Vuitton color palette.
THE NEW LADY DIOR CAMPAIGN FEATURING JISOO
The new Lady Dior campaign features South Korean singer and actress Jisoo as Dior´s fashion and beauty ambassador. Embodying modern femininity, the singer exudes a rock vibe in these images shot by Bibi Borthwick, reinventing various versions of the Lady Dior in front of a minimalist setting.
Essential codes of the House, such as couture and art, are highlighted even more through the contrast of dark and bright – especially the many facets of the bag, made of luxurious leather adorned with silver charms.
